    CALL FOR PANELISTS: CAH seeks grant review panelists to perform evaluations of applications submitted to the agency for funding consideration throughout the year. Panelists are integral to the grantmaking process.

    Panels provide a critical review, comments, and scores of all applications to a particular grant program.

    Last week CAH Executive Director Aaron Myers was pleased to kick off the first gathering of the U.S. Congressional Art Caucus, a registered congressional member organization aimed at bringing together members of Congress through common legislative objectives in the arts.

    This meeting was held at the beautiful Kreeger Museum featuring Congressman Lloyd Doggett, who proudly represents the citizens of Austin, Texas, in the U.S. House of Representatives.

    Representative Doggett is an avid supporter of the arts, and CAH was pleased to share this experience of DC-based art with him and his colleagues.

    CAH looks forward to holding future meetings with other members of this important caucus to further expand the growing and important conversation between creatives and policymakers. Stay tuned!
