The Business of the Arts: Inclusion Best Practices in Arts Education Settings

This session will explore the design and implementation of arts education programs for both in-person and online environments that are inclusive for students of diverse ability, learning, communication, and processing styles. Session topics will include an overview of the philosophy and practice of inclusion, general classroom infrastructures, student supports and strategies, and tips for facilitating a culture of social inclusion and supporting positive behaviors. Attendees will gain ideas and resources that can be implemented within their classroom and program practice no matter where they are on their inclusion journey.
