Andrew M. Ramroop, OBE is the owner of Bespoke Tailor, Maurice Sedwell on London’s Savile Row. He was the first tailor to be made a Visiting Professor of the London Institute. Trinidad-born Andrew Ramroop is one of the finest Master Tailors in the world. He has taken his fashion flair to runways all over the world – New York, Italy, Paris, London, Jamaica, and Trinidad. Another significant achievement is his establishment of the Savile Row Academy training institute as he wishes to pass on the centuries-old handcraft of bespoke tailoring techniques of Savile Row to future generations, creating international employment opportunities.
Mr. Ramroop will be interviewed by Michelle Taylor who is a Howard University Graduate School Professor in Sustainable Fashion and Textile Design Art. The conversation will have a focus on sustainable textile design art and fashion globally.
