Help Shape the Future of Arts & Humanities in DC: CAH 2026–2030 Strategic Plan
Last updated Tuesday, May 26, 2026
The DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities is embarking on a collaborative strategic planning process to guide the agency’s work between 2026–2030. This effort will result in a clear, actionable roadmap to strengthen arts and humanities across the District, one that is grounded in community voice, equity, and impact.
In partnership with Opportunity Consulting, CAH is engaging artists, cultural workers, partners, residents, Commissioners, and staff through surveys, focus groups, interviews, and public feedback opportunities. Community input will play a central role in shaping priorities, strategies, and outcomes for the years ahead.
