FY24 A Toast to the Boogie Award Administration Information

A. Award Notice, Anticipated Announcement, and Award Dates

CAH will notify applicants as to the results of their application in late May, 2024, via email with attached (1) letter of intention to award or (2) letter of denial.

For award recipients, the date of CAH award payment disbursement(s) is subject to the availability of funds and the processings of required documentation. CAH staff will advise award recipients on the payment disbursement process on or after award notification. CAH reserves the right to rescind any award for non-compliance with CAH policies, regulations, and application guidelines at any time. Award recipients with unmet reporting obligations regarding any CAH funding program are ineligible to receive additional awards from CAH.

B. Payment

Payments shall be made to awarded artists through CAH's administrative Purchase Card and the PayPal electronic payment system. CAH has the right to withhold, reduce, or rescind an award according to the terms and provisions or if the grantee (1) fails to comply with the terms of the award agreement requirements. Once the artists has submitted the required post-award paperwork, Curator Michelle May-Curry will solicit an invoice from them for payment.

Panel to Select Finalists Early-May 2024
Notifications Made to Applicants of Finalist Selections Late-May 2024
Awarded Grantee Delivers Artwork for Exhibition to CAH at 200 I Street NE Early-June 2024
