Working in printmaking, textiles, photography, ceramic installation and painting, their work addresses notions of resilience and uncertainty, both in the Caribbean and the United States.

Briana Thomas, author of Black Broadway in Washington DC, will be interviewed by Brianna Rhodes about her journey documenting important pieces of U Street's history on the stage of the "Jewel of U Street", the 100 year-old Lincoln Theatre.
