The District of Columbia Commission on the Arts and Humanities will hold a special Executive Committee Meeting Wednesday, August 14th, 2024, at 4:00pm. The Executive Committee Meeting was called by the Chairperson of the Commission for the following purpose:
1. Per the Commission’s bylaws the Executive Committee must meet on a quarterly basis and after new Committee Chairs are elected.
No other business will be considered at the meeting.
This is an online meeting of a public body held in open session via Zoom. Members of the public are invited to observe the meeting live online on CAH’s YouTube channel.
Members of the public may request three minutes to speak during the public comment period held at this meeting.
Join the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities on Wednesday June 26th from 12:00 pm -2:00 pm at 200 I (Eye) St SE for a Business of the Arts Presents: Toast to the Boogie Protecting Our Legacy Discussion.
The discussion will feature legendary musician, creative, activist George Clinton and Gabrelle German of the Protecting Our Legacy Foundation. The panel discussion will dive into Mr. Clinton's work which empowers artists and musicians to control ownership rights and royalties of their creative works.
