The National Capital Arts Cohort (NCAC) grant provides general operating support to nonprofit arts and cultural organizations that have an annual income, exclusive of District funds, in excess of $1 million, but receive less than $1 million in federal funds and either receive, or are eligible to receive, funding from the National Capital Arts and Cultural Affairs program, a federal grant administered by the U.S. Commission of Fine Arts.
