The Methods and Materials Workshop will focus on art conservation methods to provide artists with resources and information on making their artwork more sustainable. Workshop participants will learn about best practices through using and handling materials, framing, and environmental and storage presentations. The panel will consist of conservators specializing in Painting, Photography, Works on Paper, and Objects (sculpture, indoor and outdoor installations). A Q&A will wrap up the conversation with participants welcome to discuss their current projects and other material questions. This workshop will offer participants a practical understanding of how a conservator's approach to materials can support their art practice.
