(Washington) - The DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities (CAH) continues to accept applications from individuals and organizations for CAH's FY17 Projects, Events and Festivals Grant Program and FY17 Public Art Building Communities Grant Program. Activities receiving funding must be completed by September 30, 2017.
CAH is also accepting applications for the FY18 Heritage Grant Program, which provides general operating support to nonprofit arts and humanities organizations that have been established in the District for at least seven years.
New for FY18, CAH is offering general operating support funding to nonprofit arts and humanities organizations that have been established for less than seven years in the District under the Horizon Grant Program. Additionally, CAH is offering general operating support funding to nonprofit arts and humanities service organizations whose function is to provide specialized services to the arts and humanities community.
The three FY18 general operating support grant programs provide funding for organizations from October 1, 2017 to September 30, 2018. Additional FY18 grant programs will be announced in April 2017.
All grants are competitive and subject to the availability of funds. For complete information and to submit an application to any CAH grant program, visit www.dcarts.dc.gov.
