1:00 PM | Music 2 Your Feet… Soul Line Dancing

Step by step instructions of the latest line dances.

2:00 PM | Sylvia Soumah – Coyaba Dance Theatre

Electrifying portrayals of African dance, music and culture.

3:00 PM | Radiant Movement

Dancehall Fusion with Caribbean dances from the past and present.

4:00 PM | Da Originalz

A rhythmic percussion-dependent style of dance known as “Beat Ya Feet”,  originating in Washington, DC, performed to go-go music.

As part of Fiesta Asia Street Fair, over 25 troupes from various Asian cultures will be featured, including visiting International performers from Taiwan, Philippines, Korea and China.  From elegant to explosive, and subtle to bold, we will present a diverse spectrum of Asian dance heritage!

Dance DC Festival is presented by the DC Commisssion on the Arts and Humanities. The Commission provides grants, professional opportunities, education enrichment, and other programs and services to individuals and nonprofit organizations in all communities within the District of Columbia. The Commission is supported primarily by District government funds and in part by the National Endowment for the Arts.
