Call Summary
IT’S BLOOM TIME… and we need your creativity to help get giant cherry blossoms ready to hit the streets! The National Cherry Blossom Festival is seeking local and national artists to make these giant icons flourish across the Washington, DC area this Spring. Be a part of Art in Bloom – a unique and exciting project designed to reveal the whimsical and imaginative sides of the Festival and our Nation’s Capital. Twenty-five cherry blossom sculptures will be installed throughout metro-DC from March 20th, and remain on display through the end of April 2021. The exhibition will culminate with a Blossom Auction with proceeds from the sale of sculptures supporting Festival programs and community initiatives.
