The DC Commission on the Arts & Humanities and the New York City Hip Hop Theater Festival join forces each summer to produce the DC Hip Hop Theater Festival. This free festival includes plays, poetry, dance and music featuring local and national hip hop performers. The dates for this year's festival are July 12 - 17, 2004.
