Coronavirus (COVID-19) Resources for Artists and Organizations

The DC government is actively compiling a listing of resources for those impacted by COVID-19 across multiple sectors, including resources for individuals and nonprofit organizations. This listing will continue to be updated with additional resources.

Statement from CAH: COVID-19 and the District's Arts and Cultural Industries

As the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation continues to develop, the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities (CAH) recognizes the potential impact on the District’s arts and cultural production, which accounts for more than 8.4% of the District’s local economy.

The members and staff of CAH are actively exploring the options that may be available in order to provide additional support and stability to the sector, if needed.

Please also note that per the directive of Mayor Muriel Bowser, all CAH staff will be on telework status beginning Monday, March 16, 2020, through Friday, April 24.

CAH encourages everyone to follow the guidance issued by the DC Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). For more information and resources, visit coronavirus.dc.gov.
