Cicie Sattarnilasskorn, Ward 1

Cicie Sattarnilasskorn serves as the Director of the James Renwick Alliance.

Ms. Sattarnilasskorn has worked for a number of art institutions around the DC area including the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, the Newseum, and a private collection. Ms. Sattarnilasskorn volunteers as a mentor with the Asian American Leadership Empowerment and Development (AALEAD) program and also serves as the Treasurer for the Washington Improv Theater. As the current Director for the James Renwick Alliance, Ms. Sattarnilasskorn works with this independent non-profit organization that celebrates the achievements of America’s craft artists and fosters scholarship, education, and public appreciation of craft art including providing financial support of museums and other non-profit organizations, including the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian American Art Museum.

A Ward 1 resident, Ms. Sattarnilasskorn received a Bachelor of Arts in Art History with a Minor in English from Tufts University and a Master of Arts in Art History from George Washington University.
