“My design is a visual metaphor of the ‘cycle of life. With no true beginning or end, one can’t tell if something is wilting or growing, decomposing or expanding. Much like nature, I wanted the design to feel organic and abstract. Much like recycling, I wanted it to feel messy and clean. The pattern is seamless and never-ending, reinforcing the ecological hope that, one day, all things that reach their end, will actually meet a new beginning.” (Carolyn Sewell)
