The Hip Hop Community Arts offers funds to individuals and organizations for programs that encourage the growth of quality Hip Hop arts activities throughout the city and making Hip Hop arts experiences accessible to District residents. Eligible projects include, but are not limited to: visual arts exhibitions, literary readings, productions and presentations of dance theater, or music, multidisciplinary presentations, interdisciplinary art forms, arts education projects, festivals and concerts. The deadline to apply for a Hip Hop Community Arts grant is Thursday, October 15, 2009, at 7 pm. |
