DC Creates! Public Art Master Plan

The DC Creates! Public Art Master Plan completed in 2009, establishes a framework for commissioning new artworks in the public realm for the next 5 years. The plan describes how artworks can relate to ways in which the city is building its future: weaving a new fabric of neighborhood anchors, building a green and sustainable city, and stimulating the Creative Capital.

Goals

To Commission innovative public art that is integrated into the fabric of the District.
